UPDATE 7/30/2020: Due to the ongoing necessity for caution during the current COVID-19 Pandemic, the NEIBA Board has chosen to cancel the 2020 NEIBA HOF Induction & Awards Banquet. A new date has been scheduled for May 16, 2021, which will honor the same individuals originally slated for the 2020 event.
We at the Northeast Indiana Baseball Association are excited about, as we are every year, about the coming inductions of new Hall of Famers and awards recipients. This year’s group includes HOF inductees, Matt Brumbaugh , Mark Grove, and Caleb Kimmel, along with Colin Lister Award recipient, Tom Knox, and Bob Parker Award recipient, Tom Clements. This is in addition to our to be announced second annual High School baseball player of the year.
Originally scheduled for May 17, 2020, we have decided to postpone the banquet as we observe continued social distancing and await assurances that the COVID-19 pandemic is safely in our past. The new date of the HOF Induction and Awards Banquet is May 16, 2021.
NEIBA members and the general public are invited and encouraged to attend. Last year, more than 100 attendees gathered for the festivities and we are looking forward to another packed house again this year.
The event will take place at Classic Cafe Catering and Event Center at 4832 Hillegas Road, stating at 5PM. Tickets are $25 and may be purchased through any NEIBA board member or via PayPal to the email address FWNEIBA@gmail.com.
